Kyra lost an average of 1kg per week for 15 weeks at Body Buzz

 
I actually joined Body Buzz in 2010 and then again in 2011 but life got in the way both times and I had to quit before I had a chance to see any results. I continued to put on weight each year and I was 7 kg heavier by the time I joined again in 2012. This time I was determined to stick it out no matter what. My problem area was my stomach. All my fat seemed to collect around my waist. It’s interesting that as well as losing 15 kg at Body Buzz I have also lost 15cm off my waist.

My friends were shocked when they saw how quickly I had lost weight and they were a bit worried that I was sick or something. I explained to them that Marty had taught me how to nourish myself properly and I had only lost body fat, not healthy muscle. In fact my muscle weight had improved which was why I had so much energy now. The extra strength I have gained at Body Buzz has made my netball so much more enjoyable. I find myself racing around the court and going for intercepts that I never would have gone for when I was 87kg. My passing is a lot stronger and faster as well.

Every time I get a compliment I get inspired. Lately friends have been saying how good my skin looks. Marty says that good skin is a reflection of good health. I never used to sleep very well when I was a size 16. I was always tossing and turning and waking up hungry. Now I am a size 10. I sleep soundly and wake up before the kids. They used to get up before me and I’d tell them to go back to bed because I was tired and I needed more sleep.
